1938 – No competition.  The Annual Meeting of the Ontario Soccer Association decided to award the trophy to the winners of the Ontario section of the Canadian Challenge Cup competition.  This turned out to be Timmins Dome Mines who defeated Toronto Ulster United in the Ontario final.
