The National Soccer League

Finals

The Ulster win on November 13, 1926, put them one point ahead of the Maroons in the table.  However, on November 30, 1926, the Maroons claimed the title saying that Hamilton Thistles defaulted one game to them.  Maurice Vanderweghe was the owner of the Maroons.  As a result of the dispute, Ulster and Maroons played off for the title in 1927.
